Working 1440p monitors?

Can anyone with a working 1440p monitor share their model? My own 1440p doesn't detect a signal when trying to use 1920x1440 from the mister. It takes 1080p alright, but the scaler isn't great. I'm thinking of replacing it anyway.

I just installed a heatsink exactly like that. It's fine.

Re: GBA screen tear

Thanks. I switched to the official bios and I think that may have helped as well. Will report back when I can test with the ram board if it ever arrives.

Re: GBA screen tear

I checked again last night and the screen tear seemed to be gone and instead got some occasional image corruption flickers and lines for a frame like a bad VCR. So I'll thinking maybe it's the DDR RAM? I'll wait for the SD ram to arrive to compare again. Rewind was not enabled. I'll try sync to core tonight. All other settings except the scaler and...

GBA screen tear

While waiting for my ram module to arrive I've been playing some of the cores that don't require it like the Genesis, Turbografx16, and Game Boy Advance. For some reason, the GBA core has noticeable screen tear especially during vertical scrolling that isn't present in the other 2 cores. Is this normal? Is this because I don't have the ram module? ...

Re: What type of SD card to get for MiSTer

I appreciate that Samsung actually gives you the full advertised storage size. Most other brands give you the short end of the stick. SanDisk is usually pretty good too. I just got burned on a Lexar 512GB that only have 460gb usable which was not suitable for my purposes. I really wish they would be required to advertise the actual end capacity.

Re: Just wanted to say awesome work srg320 and Sorgelig!

I've been wanting to resurrect some of my old retro systems but they are in a rather sorry state. Then I found mister and was floored by how mature and capable it is. Well done!

Re: Atari Jaguar and Neo Geo low latency USB adapters

Pardon my ignorance, but how do they differ from a HID adapter? Do these use SNAC?

Re: Drama? What happened to Atari-forum?

As a new user to mister I've been googling questions and more often than not the links are pointing to the atari-forum. You can get the first page cached by google, but it's pretty difficult to get at the info now. Any chance the info is still going to be ported over in some form?
