I have recently joined the AGS group on facebook (https://www.facebook.com/groups/1144009169831106) so i can follow progress and Paul Vince is working hard on the next release. Pauls updates sound supercool and if thats the future for MegaAGS...

I have had this issue, you have to re-enable it, then reboot, then disable it again. It was related to an older 3rd party "update all" script, at least thats what Sorgelig told me.

I like this idea. I did a very quick rough search, found this to get some people going. When i get my MiSTer project finished (putting it in a case), i'll be trying this out.

Quick question guys. Do you think Matrix rain would be doable on this as a sort of screensaver? I have bought a screen and controller, i'm yet to build it into my case, but i purposely bought a green one in the hopes this might be possible. I'm only asking about feasability. Thanks.

Sounds to me like a speed issue or boot sequence issue with the usb dongles, they are ready before the OS starts to poll. The fact that when you have multiple plugged in and you get varying results could support this. Maybe the 8bitdo one initiates itself faster than others (or slower, depending on the failure reason). All theory of course.

Whatever your needs are, the bonus of doing one yourself is the customisation. I've gone for a little bit of future proofing. The segregated usb3.0 port on the left is in case i want to dabble with SNAC connectors and controllers in future, but if you only use 1 bluetooth controller (as i do currently) would you really need the port on the front? One thing worth noting with that case is that the metal is relatively thick and will take some cutting through. I would recommend finding some scrap metal to test your hole cutting skills on first. The front, back and bottom are a single piece of metal so you can't replace with a 3d printed panel or PCB, therefore you will need to cut the required...

Final pic for now, i really must use my day off for something other than MiSTer shenanigans all day... I like number 3 layout best (so far) and want to achieve it without any screws on the front (don't care on back). I know screwless versions of some of the sockets exist, price would have shot up, i was tempted by some chromed dual port USB mounts....
