hum. I see the glitch now too. I swear it was not there before. (in any case - 8MB fastram should be more than enough)

Re: Game Glitches on MegaAGS
The mega-ags setup does not like zorro3 ram. Try setting fastram to a different value. The game runs fine here, so it is definitely not a minimig issue

Re: Outrun
I fiddled a bit, trying to see if Turbo Outrun would load at all, used the manual for the Outrun upgrade kit as a reference (https://arcarc.xmission.com/PDF_Arcade_Manuals_and_Schematics/Outrun%20Turbo%20Supplement.pdf) The game boots, but does not load the graphics set. I assume this is because the jumpers are not set as instructed in the manual. ...

Re: Game Glitches on MegaAGS
I have had numerous glitches with a lot of games in the WHDLoad collection on my Amiga1200. Dogs of War is one of them. It's just the way it is, there are so many hardware combinations possible, you are bound to strike a condition triggering a bug or glitch all the time.

Re: SNK68 FPGA Core (P.O.W., SAR: Search and Rescue, Street Smart)
This looks awesome but I guess people who don't already have an LS-30 are SOL, Seimitsu doesn't appear to make them anymore and the last ones on ebay went for $500 for a set of 2 untested ones. Doesn't look like the one from Happ is easily available either. Am I happy I bought my set for 120 euro not that long ago. And they came with an arcade cab...

Last time I ran the script was yesterday. I just ran it again to see if it would download the core and it did: No changes: _Arcade/Penguin-Kun_Wars.mra No changes: _Arcade/Penguin-Kun_Wars_Japan.mra Downloading 1 files: _Arcade/cores/PenguinKunWars_20221002.rbf Must be some gremlin. Re: Colour Genie (EG2000) Computer Core Released
It currently doesn't have joystick support. Unlike most other systems of that era, they didn't have dedicated Joystick ports but instead used the parallel port to attach two analog controllers, each with a keypad. Was there much software for it that supported joysticks? I just can't seem to find information on what games supported joysticks. Every...

Re: Pac-Man Core
I'm pretty sure I figured out my issue. I had to Edit the MISTer.ini file and change this Setting: vsync_adjust=2 by default this is set to zero which has the most lag and 2 is the best Setting if your display supports it. I changed this Setting and played a game and scored over 500K and only Lost due to my own mistakes. EVERYTHING worked just lik...

Re: Almost there - need video lead?
Great looking setup :) Thnx :) Ahh I see , it's impressive what these old monitors were capable of (I did'nt know about passthrough) that makes sense. I'm sure i've seen a big HD flat screen type monitor running next to a PVM though. Although thinking about it i;m guessing there would be a RGB - HD lead? (or possibly the HD monitor may even have h...

Re: Almost there - need video lead?
You can use only one kind of output signal at the same time. So it's either HDMI, or VGA, or RGBs. If you want to use both your pvm's, all you have to do is use the r/g/b+sync outputs on your 14" one and connect those to the 9" monitor. These pvm's do passthrough.

Re: Almost there - need video lead?
You need this cable:
https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/vga-cables/1828827
r/g/b go to their respective inputs on your pvm. hsync goes to ext sync in.
See also https://www.retrorgb.com/vgaconnector.html
You can also use a vga-component cable of course, and then toggle the small SoG (sync-on-green) switch on your MiSTer board.

Re: Cosmo Police Galivan & UFO Robo Dangar by Nichibutsu
Somehow the keyboard does not seem to work for inputs. Mapping from within the core works fine, and keypresses are registered, but after mapping in-game keypresses don't do anything. (5 and 1 for coin/start for instance). Do others see the same behaviour?

rsync is the best way really. Just don't use compression (-z) , that will significantly impact the transfer speed.

Re: CD audio now in Minimig on MiST
I was looking over this yesterday. I have not tried it yet. I was wondering how it would connect a CD drive to the Turbo Chameleon 64 that this core was developed for. But I had not considered that the TC64 Minimig core had not gotten any kind of CD support yet, so this is digital CD image support I think, with CDDA support. Connecting a physical ...

Re: Flickerblend on the Neo Geo Core
The flickering is an interlacing effect, to simulate transparency with other 'layers' in the game. It's a relatively cheap effect which works well on crt monitors, less on lcd screens. Flickerblend would get rid of those transparency effects as well.

Delay accounting is not cheap, which is the main reason why it was disabled in the kernel I assume.

Nope, unless you build the converter yourself and reprogram the outputs using pwm. Technically possible, but since nobody did it so far, chances are that it did not really work out in the end.

Re: Is It Possible to Adjust Arcade Core Screen Sizes for CRT Displays
So possibly the Mister-X core is wrong? https://www.retrorgb.com/misterfpga-sega-system-1-2-core-expansion-by-developer-blackwine.html It certainly seems that way according to that article. A few of Jotego’s core’s also have borders either side of the screen on CRT’s (Double Dragon, Double Dragon 2, Robocop, Bad Dudes). Makes me wonder if the timi...
