Re: Outrun
I tested the game with a recently acquired Logitech G920 wheel and pedals. I was able to get the game to play using the setup, but found that during gameplay the pedals would get confused. Basically, once I tapped the brake pedal, it would then require me to hold the brake pedal in order for the acceleration pedal to work. Any known reason why thi...

Re: ZX Spectrum Recreated Would Work as Bluetooth Keyboard With MiSTer?
The Spectrum Recreated support has been merged into the main core! Sorgelig did mention that ZX80 mode has a completely different layout to the ZX81, if that core also gets official support. I have no idea how popular the ZX80 is, I don't think anyone familiar with it would expect it to work with the Spectrum keyboard. GREAT NEWS, thanks for your ...

Re: ZX Spectrum Recreated Would Work as Bluetooth Keyboard With MiSTer?
@Sorgelig I beg you to reconsider. The market for these keyboards may not be huge, but most of us are NOT using MiSTer as a dedicated Speccy solution - that doesn't make a (togglable) input device undesirable or not useful! I don't think anyone advocating for this *wants* to use it with other cores - we just want to use it when we run THIS core! I...

Yes, while I haven't been able to configure it as a controller, the basics work. The home button is F12(menu), the directional pad works and the center button is execute. That is about as much as I have been able to get to work. This at least lets me navigate the cores, launch roms and menu of course lets me get out of the game. Outside of having ...

Re: ZX Spectrum Recreated Would Work as Bluetooth Keyboard With MiSTer?
Here it is (the regular core, not the composite one) with the latest framework changes and the rebased patch. Not sure what's new, but apparently the VGA_DISABLE thing was part of that update. Hi! Pgimeno! Your core works perfectly in the regular one version; in the composite version it starts correctly but it lacks, in the menu, the two options t...

Ok, so today I've created a 512MB hard disk with 1024 cylinders in 86Box, I've made Fdisk on it with Compaq Dos 3.31 - the only 3.3x Dos that supports partitions of 521MB. I've formatted, made "sys c:", then copied the content of the 3 floppy disks Compaq 3.31 Dos to C:\, then copied the new mymenu.exe for PCXT in mymenu folder together ...

Hi @pgimeno, I've found a ZX Spectrum Recreated Keyboard at last and it work beautifully with your patch. One question: can you also update the latest versione of the MikeS1 core (https://github.com/MikeS11/MiSTerFPGA_YC_Encoder)? Because to use the Zx Spectrum both in composite and with the rubber keyboard would be a dream! Glad you're enjoying i...

In general, is it possibile to run a 512MB HD image with Compaq Dos 3.31 in this core without issues? I've noticed some random issues like no correct label for disk C... Have you tried makng a snaller disk to see if it works? Maybe the problem is with that Compaq Dos. Sure it can be, but I think the best way to play the games from 1981 to 1987 is ...

So going through the INI file, it seems like we need to remove the TURBO options so only the "slow" one remains? # TURBO=Full - 486; $A100 # TURBO=Med - 286/386; $A1A0 TURBO=Slow - XT 8088; $A1A1 Remove them all... because changing speed on PCXT is not supported (yet) Other than that, I suppose we'd need to review which screensavers and ...

But that requires Long file name Fat32, isn't it? It needs a LFN driver otherwise it is limited to 11 chars for directory names. DOSLFN is not compatible with XT computers, however, LFNDOS can be used when LFN is disabled. Re: IBM PCjr BIOS in PCXT Core
In PCXT, keyboard input was buffered in the shift register. However, in PCJr, the data signal is input directly to 8255. If we want to implement it in MisterPCXT... we will need to create a converter. It seems like it would take a lot of work, maybe in the future it could be assessed. We would only gain another small catalogue of PCjr exclusive Ta...
