Re: Windows 95 with Internet?

Check https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/Wiki_MiSTer/wiki/Internet-and-console-connection-from-supported-cores for some more info. That guide suggests you use Trumpet Winsock, which I suppose could work OK, and that is the only option for Windows 3.11, however Windows 95 comes with dial-up networking included and to make it work you simply need to in...

I have ordered the MiSTer MIDI 1.4 to try later too. Great, please report back if your results are different without using MIDI though USB. That information cold potentially help a developer identify the regression and fix the issue. Re: MiSTer MidiLink

Would the "MiSTer MIDI" (1.4), which connects to the IO Board's USER port, work the same way but allow my real Roland devices to be used? I should probably just get one because I wasn't aware they existed until now, and am anticipating you'll say yes. It will be nice not tying up a normal USB port to MIDI usage too. I'm pretty sure it wo...

Re: MiSTer MidiLink

I investigated the X68000 core's Gemini Wing MIDI output by running it through a computer running aseqdump, and I get drastically corrupted SysEx messages. During the initial loading of the F4-held SN-U110-07 mode which should have most SysEx messages as 256 bytes each (according to the emulator's output and verified CM-64 playback), from the MiST...

Urm... Well... The A2065 has drivers. If we emulate the chip's registers, we get that for free. Looking this up, it's an AMD lance ethernet --- BSD's le driver talks to it. But the Amiga driver is here for the usage. Don't forget about the Novell NE2000 which could also potentially work with ao486. https://aminet.net/package/driver/net/cnetdevice ...

Kinda off topic, but something strange about my A500 Mini.

The included gamepad quit working, but does still work with my MiSTer.

But the A500 mini still works with my 8bitdo Lego brick thing with PS4 controller.

Anyone else had an issue with the gamepad?

Re: Right Amiga on Pi (or other) keyboard without Menu key?

You can temporarily attach a keyboard with a menu key and use the key remap function in the menu core OSD.

This is what I've done to remap F-12 for my Amiga 1200 MiSTer build. UK amiga keyboard has an unlabeled key near the left Amiga key, so I remapped it to that.

Is it possible to run 800x600 games on SCUMMVM Mister?
Thanks.

You can copy your launch script to a new file,
ie. copy ScummVM_2_7_0.sh to ScummVM_2_7_0_800x600.sh
then edit the "vmode -r 640 480 rgb16" line:

Code: Select all

echo "Setting Video mode..."
#vmode -r 640 480 rgb16
vmode -r 800 600 rgb16

hope that helps.

Did something in updates affect driver? More clues are needed... You don't specify which chipset your USB WiFi adapter uses. There are many WiFi drivers statically built into the kernel. If you don't know your chipset one can usually figure it out by googling vendor and product IDs for the device. If you go into the F9 console (login:root passwd:1...

I'm not sure who to ask. I'm guessing I need to talk to the MIDILink dev? Has this already been asked? The C64 USR port is limited to 9600 baud so its simply not fast enough to talk directly to MIDI equipment which operates at 31250 baud. The C=64 core would need to emulate the Cynthcart hardware...
