Re: Zero Wing by Toaplan Arcade Core Released
Hey guys, I’m having trouble getting the most recent release of Zero Wing working, all the other games at https://github.com/va7deo/zerowing run fine but when I try to boot up Zero Wing I get the following error message.
I’ve tried a couple of different roms.
Edit, now sorted!

Re: Chameleon by Jaleco
Much better! It does go out of range when you go higher than 21 on H-Position but it’s pretty much perfect at that point on my CRT anyway.

Re: Is It Possible to Adjust Arcade Core Screen Sizes for CRT Displays
So possibly the Mister-X core is wrong? https://www.retrorgb.com/misterfpga-sega-system-1-2-core-expansion-by-developer-blackwine.html It certainly seems that way according to that article. A few of Jotego’s core’s also have borders either side of the screen on CRT’s (Double Dragon, Double Dragon 2, Robocop, Bad Dudes). Makes me wonder if the timi...

Re: Chameleon by Jaleco
So Chameleon has dropped but on a CRT the image is pushed well over to the right of the screen and when I adjust the H-Pos it knocks the picture out of range. Tested this on a few different TV’s.

Is It Possible to Adjust Arcade Core Screen Sizes for CRT Displays
I use a CRT TV via VGA/Scart and on quite a few arcade cores I get borders either side of the screen. This can be seen in here in Wonderboy that uses the Sega System 1 core by MiSTer-X. tuTSiW2.jpg Now obviously on an arcade monitor you can easily adjust the size of the image. Anyway yesterday I tried the Sega System 1 core by blackwine and noticed...

Re: Prehistoric Isle in 1930 Released
Cool. Just have the game a quick test, seems to be running well. Only thing is when I run it on a CRT via VGA to Scart the picture is shifted to the right of the screen and adjusting the H-sync doesn’t move it over to the middle enough.

Memory Card & SNAC Adapter
Hi all, I got this PSX Snac adapter this week from https://MiSTerFPGA.co.UK and it works great. However I’m not sure how I’m supposed to save games when using the Snac adapter?
I’ve put a blank.mcd file in my PSX games folder but when I try to mount the file it doesn’t appear.

Re: Vtech Creativision / Dick Smith Wizzard
I can’t seem to get this core working.
Grabbed the bios file from this site: http://www.madrigaldesign.it/creativemu/roms.php
Plus some games, renamed the bios to boot0.rom but I’m just getting a multi coloured screen via hdmi & a blank screen on my CRT.

Lack of a Flip Option on Some Vertical Games for CRT Users
I know that this has been talked about before but I just wanted to appeal to all of the guys who develop the arcade cores for the MiSTer, guys you are doing a sterling job but please please please include a flip option on the vertical games for CRT users if possible. Lots of games have this option in their DIP switch settings but unfortunately not ...

Re: Depricated.
Hi guys. I’ve got a problem, each time I run the core it automatically starts to load up Project X by Team 17 Software. What can I do to stop this? Project-X is setup to auto reboot the core and select the correct memory profile (EMM). If you are bouncing the core while in the game and not exiting the game back to dos like you should it won't ever...

Well a different FPGA is being used for the newer models of the real Next so that might be the cause.

It is beta but it works on a real Next. I always update both the Next & MiSTer at the same time usually.

Just a word of warning, the Next core doesn't like Next firmware version v1.42. You get an error message if you try and use it.

Anyone else getting an ED error message as soon as you start the core?

Well I guess that the same could be said of the ZX Spectrum Next, which I own but hardly use since the core was released on the MiSTer.
