Obviously it sounds like a joke, but have you tried turning it off and on again (while it's rotated)?redsteakraw wrote: ↑Fri Jan 15, 2021 10:17 pmFunny thing if I rotate my component TV the colors are all off.

Re: Preserving Arcade Core High Scores
I'll be honest I'm very new to MiSTer development so I'm not going to promise anything yet
I do think we could implement the optional autosave behaviour similar to some console cores where save is triggered by opening the OSD - and that would keep me happy at least!

Re: Preserving Arcade Core High Scores
For anyone who is interested, I've started applying alanswx's changes enable NVRAM save/load to other cores - so far I've updated the MCR3 and MCR3Scroll cores (I'm basically doing this in order of games I like so Spy Hunter came first!). That adds support to: MCR3Scroll - Spy Hunter - Crater Raider - Turbo Tag MCR3 - Discs of Tron - Journey - Tapp...

Re: Preserving Arcade Core High Scores
The latest updates by alanswx to defender cores have definitely added high score load+save - or more accurately load+save of the whole CMOS RAM. (I was having a go at trying to implement it myself but as soon as i saw the update to main a little while back i stepped back as i knew someone else more competent was working on it!) It only saves that a...

Re: issues gettings output on crt tv via ioboard and rgb scart cable
vga_scaler = 0 will indeed leave you with the output as is from the core, so no rotation for vert arcade cores - but it's the lowest latency option, so if you are using a CRT for that reason it is what it is! Having serious thoughts about a way to rotate my Trinitron 90 degrees now! Odd that you've got difference behaviour between arcade and other ...

Re: issues gettings output on crt tv via ioboard and rgb scart cable
Having just finished a trial and error process to get my CRT going with the MiSTer, I feel your pain!! My setup is a bit different, as I have a VGA > SCART cable with additional USB connection that I believe provides the +5V power to activate the PAL input - therefore the VGA power jumper is not relevant to me. If you have a regular, correctly wire...
