Re: Pin layout for GPIO1
Thanks for the help so far. I don't have (and need) an analog or digital I/O board, but I wan't to connect the three buttons and LEDs from my casing to the DE10-nano. As the I/O boards are connected to the GPIO I thought that would be possible directly with the pin header. I was studying the D-10 nano manual, but to be honest I can't really get the...

Pin layout for GPIO1
Hello,
I was wondering if there is a complete pin layout for the GPIO1? What I found out so far:
11-5v
12-Ground
13-OSD
15-User
17-Reset
29-3.3v
Especially interesting would be the pins for the leds
Best regards,
Michael

Re: Light Gun
Just for info: You need a original Wiimote. I have several "clones" here and wasn't able to connect any of them via bluetooth. If possible stay away of the 5V USB sensor bars. The original Nintendo sensor bar has two more leds and is more accurate than the 5V USB clones. If you have the knowledge, buy a cheap original Wii sensor bar on eb...

Re: Spinner games list?
I have a few questions about this. Pardon me for being a MiSTer newbie. First of all, I'm not seeing many of these games on my MiSTer (and I have just done JT's update_all script). For instance, there's no Missile Command, Tempest, Marble Madness or Crystal Castles. This seems strange, they are major games. I have an dual stick Atari Fightstick wi...

"One Type of core" Setup
Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible to setup MiSTer for only one type of core. For example setup one MiSTer for "Arcade Only" and another for "Consoles Only".
And than in the menu not start with the "Core folders" but inside a specific core folder (e.g. "_Arcade").
Best regards,
Michael

Mr. Spinner and Atari 2600
I build my self a two player Spinner Controller from original Atari 2600 Paddles and two KY-040 encoder like described here: https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/Retro-Controllers-USB-MiSTer/tree/master/PaddleTwoControllersUSB As I don't have any real paddles, I disabled PADDLE_SUPPORT and enabled PADDLE_EMU. As described here: https://misterfpga.org/vi...

Re: Special/Interesting controllers for MiSTer
Sorry my bad. The buttons work fine. I'm having problems with the Atari 2600 core and real Spinner games like Indy 500. In Paddle Games like Circus Atari the button works just fine.

Re: Special/Interesting controllers for MiSTer
Here i plan to post interesting controllers i've got and successfully adopted to MiSTer. I won't post generic gamepads as i'm sure modern USB gamepads are much better than any old generic one. Paddle/Spinner controller: Some cores are better with either spinner or paddle controller. I've used Atari 2600 driving controller (Atari 2600 paddle can be...

Re: MT32 pi with Amiga Core
Thanks. I've got it running. I was wondering if there is a complete list of Amiga games that support Midi? I could have sworn I've seen one around, but can't find it anymore... My zip file covers all the Amiga games that support the MT-32. Okay, thanks a lot for your work. BTW: I found the list I was looking for before: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/...

Re: Build a Mr Spinner
I am also trying to build a Mr Spinner using KY-40 rotary encoder for Arduino. As the shaft is not long enough I have cut the paddle housing a bit. As knob I am using this one: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07DS6R13R/ Mechanically it is working well and it is recognized as paddle in Arkanoid core. But if I turn knob, Arkanoid ship moves left a...

I was away from MiSTer for quite a while so I'm not up to date. Is this still the MegaAGS from Pezz 82 from around April last year, or is there another release out there?LamerDeluxe wrote: ↑Mon Jun 14, 2021 11:23 am The author of MegaAgs is working on adding the games I fixed for the MT-32 now, so I expect it to be updated with that soon.

Re: Atari Ultimate Dual Arcade Fight Stick with Trackball
I got one of these with a Raspberry Pi 3 recently. Basically this is a XIN-MO Arcade Controller and a USB Trackball. So you have two USB connections, one for the sticks and buttons and one for the Trackball. Works very well with RetroPi and Windows. The XIN-MO Arcade Controller also works fine with Mister. It gets recognizes as two separate control...

Re: GUN2CRT, the new universal CRT lightgun adapter
Hi,
how would the setup be for a CRT TV with RGB Scart?
From Mister VGA to your GUN2CRT and then into something like that: https://hackaday.io/project/165634-the- ... rt-adapter and from there into the TV Scart connector?

Light Gun support
Hi, I recently got a Sony KV-21X5D CRT very cheap on ebay and also a PS2 Light Gun. Now I'm totally hooked on my PS2 and want to update my mister so I can play Light Gun games there too. Why would you run ScummVM on MiSTer? Normally it's all about accuracy or timing, but these are all irrelevant when running ScummVM.
