Re: Wishlist of Cores You Would Like to See in the Future
We are missing football games, so I would love to see either Taito Kick and Run or its bootleg Mexico 86. That would be just a dream for me! I fully agree, we are missing too many football games. Full schematics are available for Kick and Run so I just started to look at it today. I can't promise a MiSTer core because it has a MC6801 MCU and a cus...

Digital Circuit Simulator
Hi, I have been playing with Logisim (a tool for designing and simulating digital logic circuits) for more than a year now as my goal was to understand how digital circuits work, simulate a very basic 8 bit CPU and then move to the exciting world of the FPGA environment. Ultimately I would be over the moon if one day I could be able to develop an a...

Re: New Arcade Core: Tropical Angel (Irem M57)
@aberu,
I would have a kind request, if I may. Would it be possible to implement the background music option under the DIP settings?
That would be super cool!
I remember that the tune was fantastic!
Many thanks!
PS. Thanks to the mods for adding the original Tropical Angel poster in my post!

Re: SonSon Capcom Arcade Core
I can confirm that it is working fine in my case. I would suggest to remove manually both the .rbf and .mra and let the Update_all to re-download all the files for you.
Thanks @MikeS for the latest release!

Re: Bosconian Arcade Core
I was just looking in the MISTer FPGA Repository and noticed the top item being Bosconian. A look on Github showed that today's version is an update to the first version from 09/03 which has never been downloaded on my MISter. Today's version has been posted 30 min ago but nothing showed up with update all, may be I have to wait some more until th...

Re: SonSon Capcom Arcade Core
It is odd indeed. I wouldn't know why it is behaving like that. I have just tried a few times again and in my case the files don't get removed after running Update_all. But like yourself it doesn't download the files either if I remove them manually.

Re: Exerion Arcade Core
Hello! Has anyone managed to star the core? I am using update 2.0 but it does not download the zip.rom. I found exeriont.zip but when I load the core it will always say prom6.4s is missing even though it is definitely in the rom folder. Has it it got something to do with merged or split romset? In the mra file of exerion there is also a prom 5.4p ...

Re: SonSon Capcom Arcade Core
I just did some tests. Update_all did not remove SonSon from my system. However, after removing manually the .rbf and .mra I have had to re-install all the files again as Update_all did not pick it up.

Re: SonSon Capcom Arcade Core
I was surprised just how addictive this little game was, Ive had it on many Capcom compilations over the years, but playing the Mister core with no perceptible lag gives the game the 'one more go factor. Absolutely! Also, I can definitely state that Mister is the the coolest thing I have ever owened! For me every core that gets developed/released ...

SonSon Capcom Arcade Core
Thanks @MikeS1 for this new core! I do love this game!
I have downloaded manually .rbf, .mra and the associated rom as the update_all script didn't, at least in my case.
Just out of curiosity, has somebody else experienced the same behaviour?
Thanks again for this new fantastic core!

Re: Support for Raiders5 Added to NinjaKun Core
Hi, Many thanks @mikesimone3 for supporting this new game! I just get a black screen when I lunch the game. I have also tried to install the new .mra file manually but to no avail. Could someone please confirm? Thanks! Confirmed. If you build from the repo it works. The core was updated , but no new .rbf was added to the Releases folder - only the...

Re: Sega Bank Panic Arcade Core Release
Guys, Please forgive my lack of knowledge. Looking at the GitHub repository, following the new release, I can see that the .qpf didn't change but the .sv did. Does that mean that when I compile again the .qpf then Quartus will automatically look at the new .sv file as well? Once again sorry for the very basic question but I would love to learn! Tha...

Re: Sega Bank Panic Arcade Core Release
Would someone please be so kind as to share the compiled .rbf? My apologies in advance if that wouldn't be possible.
Many thanks!
EDIT: Great news, I have re-run Quartus and this time worked like a charm!

Guys, Just out of curiosity. Did you manage to run Radiant Silvegun? In my case the game freezes up after few seconds. I do love this core. It's simply mazing!!! Good evening all, Just tested and Radiant Silvergun runs fine on my end (at least up to stage 2, where I'm getting destroyed using the awful, mushy Saturn dpad). I should note I have a du...
