It is one of the best cores available for the Mister. So, yes, it does.

Toni Willem himself has said several times that a cycle-exact/cycle-accurate 68020 can´t be done with nowadays information available.

Some of these older cores have analog sound which isn´t an easy thing to tackle. I wish they can be improved in the future, though.

[...] Developing CPU cores is time consuming and difficult.. at least it is for me.. :) Some of the recent bug fixes for the MCL86 were absolute needles in the haystack and I am very impressed how short the time between members of this group identifying bugs and @spark2k06 and @kitune-san isolating and helping to fix them! In Spain, I don´t know i...

Does the mouse work out of the box or need some driver installation? Sorry for asking, but core´s readme doesn´t show any info yet.

Re: MiSTer PCXT
The TL/2 was my first PC as a child, how close is this core to that in terms of graphics and sound? From reading comments my guess is that later 1000s had sound chips that this core doesn't implement yet, but I'm not sure. In terms of sound, it has an SN76489AN Compatible Implementation ( Tandy Sound ), and Adlib is also available through the JTOP...

Re: IPF Support
IPF does mean all the manual based copy protection is present and its a pain in the arse. Also means you would have to pay much more attention to the config of the Amiga. No WHDLoad fixes would be present You´re right but at the same time you may enjoy a nice and clean floppy replica without intros, trainers, outros, cracks and similar stuff which...

Re: Missing Sound Channels (Blue’s Journey, Others?)
Greyrogue has fixed the error with Blue's Journey, so many thanks to him/her! As for balancing inaccuracy, yes, some games feel like certain instruments are in the background & drowned out, compared to how I remember them or heard on real hardware. Well, that'll take a bit more listening to by all of us. Maybe you could compare to MAME which a...

Re: PSX via VGA to PC CRT 31 Khz Monitor not Working
Interlaced is a problem for VGA monitors, you can try Sonic 2 versus mode or SNES air strike patrol and watch the signal drop. However it seems to be worse in the PSX core as not even 240p can be doubled to 480p. Robert said something about the PSX sync being variable so that the method used for scandoubling can't be applied. Sonic 2 vs mode lose ...

Same issue over here wit a 31Khz CRT monitor. PSX core doesn´t show image using forced_scandoubler=1. However, enabling the scaler and setting a fixed screen resolution work fine. It seems that the scandoubler option is ignored by the core. I was about to suggest this. Please post your MiSTer.ini if you can, you may need a custom modeline to force...

Seems to play well. A couple slow downs spotted, but a lot of cave's boards slow down in in particular parts. Will be interesting to hear from the super-players what they think. Slowdowns are present in emulators too so it´s likely an issue of the original hardware. If you ask me it's unoptimized code in the game it self and not the Original Hardw...

There is a little trick to avoid that: rename the unofficial rbf and edit the mras pointing to the new core name. Even you can create a new folder and drop the Blackwine´s specific mras into it. ...or just create an exception in your downloader.ini : [mister] filter = !arcade-segasys1 This way, the update script will ignore the specific core and ....
