Re: How often/regularly do you use the MiSTer?
I have my MiSTer in a bartop arcade cabinet in the corner of my apartment. I usually have some attract mode running while I go around doing mundane tasks that have to be done and I jump on every now and then as a reward for work done. Ever since I put a crt in the cab my daughter has become interested also. Yesterday she played so much magical drop...

Re: IPAC plus 2 joypads?
Just to add a little more information about what happens when I try and set up a 4 player game. I start the Genesis core and Mega Bomberman or Gauntlet for example with the 4way adapter enabled. The IPAC is assigned to player 1 and player 2 as normal. When I try and add a third controller it gets assigned as player 2 again so both the second joysti...

IPAC plus 2 joypads?
Hello :) I have an arcade cab with a mini pac hooked up to arcade controls for players 1 and 2. It is set up as a keyboard and it automatically mapped the player 2 buttons according to the setup posted on these forums. Has anyone tried adding bluetooth or usb 8bitdo control pads for players 3 and 4? I'm struggling to get it to work and am wondering...

Re: CPS 1.5
I got my ram from https://misterfpga.co.uk a few weeks ago. It plays everything fine except Punisher. The weird thing is that if Punisher is the first thing I boot up after the mister has been off for awhile it works perfect. I can leave it on and play it as many times I want without it crashing. However, if I load another core or even just reset i...

I also could not get a stable picture until I turned off the scanlines I had set under the scandoubler options. I guess it affects the sync. They are called scandoubler options so maybe they turn the scandoubler back on for the cores which you have saved a config with them enabled?

Re: Genesis Controller with Minimig
I made a two port sega genesis controller port with an arduino pro micro and two genesis extension cords. It uses the ultra low latency daemonbite retro controller software and is 1000 hz polling compatible so overclock the USB polling and you will get basically eliminates input lag that has over a 93%+ chance of meeting the frame. It works with a...

Re: DE10 Nano Not Booting Green User Light Only
To circle around on this - I bought a new DE10-nano and it started right up with everything else being the same. We have a domestic longhair cat who started sleeping near my MiSTer and I never bothered to put a case on mine, so I imagine the inherent fuzziness and static of the system screwed up my original board. Lesson learned, haha. Looks like ...

Re: External HDD suggestions due to size of MegaCD ROMs
I'm using an old Buffalo ministation 320gb that I had lying around, its not powered. It works for roms like Megadrive or NeoGeo etc but I have noticed stuttering music with MegaCD and ao486 does not work with it at all.

The longer I leave mine on the more chance there is of me playing Ghouls n Ghosts which in turn leads to me turning into an irate uncontrollable monster.

Thanks for making this pack it is awesome :) Are there usb drive compatibility issues with this core?
