Re: RS-232 (9 pin) serial mouse connection to MiSTer running ao486

Sorry for the off, but I ask: is it possible that this adapter: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000680055332.html work in MiSTer? I am looking for a joystick like the Sega Genesis or Famicom clones to work on the system and allow me to map the buttons on each core. I know there are options like SNAC or DIY something with Arduino, but I just have ...

for future: USB -> LPT for connecting real OPL devices (OPL3LPT) (even older printers) does it makes sense? You mean an external adaptor like this ? https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00EXK9CWU/ If yes, I guess that firstly it will have to be recognized by Linux right ? @spark2k06, Don't know if this could be doable, but a snac2ide would be amazing. Re: Wishlist of Cores You Would Like to See in the Future

Two of my wishes that I have listed are on the way, the PC-XT and the Commodore 128. I cross my finger to see one day my third wish, the Atari Falcon.
We should maybe fill a shared spreadsheet and strikethrough what has been fulfilled.

Re: SNAC2IEC Adapter PCB (Connect Commodore Floppy to MiSTer)

I received my SNAC2IEC built this week-end, this is really an amazing device. I've tested it with a real floppy and it works like a charm, next step will be to test with the SD2IEC device and also by using 2 devices to see if this works or not. But I'm already happy to see my real floppy drive connected to the Mister and got it working like on real...

Here are my today's results. 1st try on my Tandy 1000. As you can see I set the speed to LOW which corresponds to 4.77Mhz. The output is CGA (on a LCD monitor thanks to the interface MCE2VGA (https://www.serdashop.com/MCE2VGA). 20220513_144832.jpg Then I run the small basic program and.... it last 11 sec 31. 20220513_145958.jpg Then I changed the s...

However, what I find strange is that I'm getting 11s at both 4.77Mhz and 7.16Mhz, it's throwing me off.
Agree, this is weird. I'll test at both frequencies, but I'm pretty sure that the time will be reduced

It takes the same time at 4.77Mhz as it does at 7.16Mhz, how strange this is, I wonder how long this sequence of code will take in IBM BASIC on a real PCXT: Chrono.jpg I own a Tandy 1000 (4.77mhz/7.16Mhz as well) I can try this loop on it tomorrow evening and let you know how long it last to get it completed. Hello everyone, I've just discovered thanks to a French Amiga forum (AmigaFrance.com) that Winuae, the well known Amiga emulator has the capability of running American Laser Games. Heecules is a better fit for the upcoming 186 core. It already has a proper CGA implementation, at least: https://misterfpga.org/viewtopic.php?t=3682&start=90 Agree, it makes much more sense to have the Hercules/MDA/CGA/TGA on a 8088 till 80286 core. Re: IBM PCJr Core

AO486 is way to fast/complex for PCJr/Tandy 1000 stuff. Also most games made for the original 4.77mhz Intel 8088 were quite speed sensitive and don't take too well to different timings. In terms of features, I think a less is more aproach would probably be best at first. Work on getting compatibility with PCJr stuff done, then move on to Tandy, th...
