Otherwise it hangs when trying to mount it during bootup.

That should be handled by the 1.3 patched shared FS driver that is included, but maybe that broke with the latest core updates?

In the Video Processing section of MiSTer’s menu (press F12), it’s the same for any core, not specific to Amiga core or AmigaVision.

Indeed, that’s the idea. As long as you keep your own Saves.hdf, upgrades should always work, and you should never lose saves or favorites. It also supports things like Saves:custom-startup, so you can add any app or game you want (with whatever scripts or commands or custom setup and configuration files you need), and still be able to upgrade.

They are on the Saves: drive, I don’t remember the exact path off the top of my head, but they should survive upgrades like the rest of the save files as long as you keep that HDF.

That would be massively more complex to maintain, and also it would be a nightmare for bug reporting, since everyone would be running their own custom setup. Part of the reason AmigaVision exists is to make a “known good” setup that uses the same settings and configuration for everything.

Hit the TAB key on your keyboard or the tertiary button on your controller/joystick, as explained in the Favorites section.

The display at the link supports both 50hz and 60hz, as already stated.

Adding 1 frame delay solves this in general if your TV or monitor can’t switch fast enough. (This is the reason that’s the default in AmigaVision)

This looks like a bug in the MiSTer framework if that’s how it’s supposed to work? I don’t use external storage, so I don’t have the context to know if this is normal in other cores.

If it’s a binary that can ble launched from the command line, you can drop the execute command.
