Re: Building MiSTer SMDB Packs using a Mac

First, does running the script alone (./build_pack.py) gives you something? If you've clone the smoke monster git repo, first you need to set the execute bits on the python scripts to made them executable: chmod 755 *.py Spaces in directory path is always a pain with terminal commands, most of the time encapsulates them in single or double quoting ...

Re: Building MiSTer SMDB Packs using a Mac

The SmokeMonster packs scripts appear to work on my setup, I'm on Catalina and I used brew https://brew.sh/index_fr to install the latest Python and required unix tools.

Re: Monitor with 1x HDMI Port and 2x Display Port

There are passive adapters that adapt HDMI signals for DP inputs. https://www.amazon.com/DisplayPort-Adapter-Display-Converter-Gold-Plated/dp/B06VV26BLB/ It won't work, those are for Display Port output from a computer. I can’t wait for this feature become available. A default for all would be a great start ;-) Fiddling overrides per soundfonts is a good bonus, especially when the config f...

MT32-Pi reverb with fluidsynth

I've just received my MT32-Pi Hat I ordered from Nat @ misterfpga.co.uk and I'm very, very pleased. After resolving some usual DE-10 power issues, it works like a charm, the MT-32 sound passing thru the i2S and mixing out thru the HDMI is totally noise free. I love the MT-32 emulation, but the Fluidsynth sound is too much flat, it needs some reverb...

Re: MiSTerFPGA.co.uk

I have now received a fair few emails asking for some advance notification on when the next batch of mt32-pi HATs will be on sale, as they sold out so quickly last time. This next batch consists of 30 units of each OLED colour screen version (white, blue, yellow). Hi Nat, I've just received the mt32-pi hat from you, I'm very pleased with this cute...
