Re: Release DE10 Nano Overclock Kernel BETA

It could be put in some "experimental/unsafe features" tab (like in the PSX core) and have the warning in the scroller text. At least 99% of the people would still forget that they have turboed the ARM cpu. If you added a big red flashing warning sign over the whole screen with a blaring horn that can not be clicked past for 5sec then mo...

Re: Thoughts on this power supply?

After a quick look at the reviews and seeing these two comments. Sure they where for 9V and 24V versions but i would NOT let this near my beloved , i mean my DE-10 NANO ;) It is probably a cheap generic powersupply and there is probably a BIG chance that the internals change all the time depending on what is cheapest during the week before of manuf...

Re: Problems with my DE10-Nano

If you have everything disconnected my thoughts are these. As KneeTie said the DE-10 was fried by a static shock. Or some short somewhere. I would probably look the board over very thoroughly preferably with a magnifying glass because it can be very hard to see a short on this small components/traces. You could also try terrasics offical sd card/im...

Re: SNAC vs BlisSTer vs Deamonbite

Some important pro/cons/info is left out of this list! Will add them SNAC DaemonBite BlisSTer Tldr; SNAC for lightguns and DaemonBite for almost everything else. SNAC Wide official core support No lag, direct electrical connection to FPGA (which means it will be the exact same connection as a real console) Allows original CRT dependant lightguns to...

1G1R stands for “One Game One ROM”.
If you use the google you will probably find some archive site that may have that

Do you mean the DDR3 memory on the ARM side or the SDRAM we have to add?
If you mean SDRAM then why?
Because each core sets its own SDRAM speed ,which is why some jotega core did (or are) mess up some SDRAM sticks.

Never used notifications myself. I have an pinned tab open on this forum all the time and just use "unread posts" that you can find under quick links up to the left. You should also make sure the sdcard is formated with EXFAT and NOT NTFS.
Because NTFS will most likely cause problems sooner or later!

Re: PSX Core Official Release

Has anyone else had controller input stop briefly and re start after a couple of seconds? Maybe once every 20-30 minutes? Yes! On real PS4's and it has happened since the release of the ps4 and still does, three regular and one pro with many different DS4 gamepads (no fake ones). Although it do happens often but after 2-4 hours and the gamepad is ...

Chrono Cross
Dragon Warrior VII
Alundra
Pretty well known and big games so not on this list.
n2o
One Piece Mansion
Valkyrie Profile
Gunners Heaven
Harmful Park
Zanac X Zanac
Gaiaseed: Project Seed Trap
40 Winks
Seems like they can be good.

Where did my last post go?
All i said was that i did play Klonoa for about 2 hours and that it was a good but not fantastic game.
And then said Urban Chaos is one of my all time favorites games, played the hell out of it on PC at the time.

So What PSX Game Should I Play On My First Try of the Core?

I have waited for the official PSX release before playing so almost no bugs/etc will be left. And i just started thinking about what game should i try first? I have decided that it must not be any of the well known games or big releases. Also not any fighting game sure jiggle physics and finishers is fun for 5-10min but after that the games are jus...

Sorgelig and the other FPGA "developers" are aliens that have created the MiSTer as a weapon to take over and enslave earth without any bloodshed (except on forums/social media off course  ).

Perhaps the d-pad takes some time to get used to Yes you have too build up some nice thick skin  . I preferred PS layout over xbox at the time (the opposite now) the only problem i had was that the left thumb got raw many times due to the D-pad. And Digital psx pad vs analog, i do think the dualshock felt a bit nicer because of the weight and...

Re: More Power with Two DE10 Nano Boards?

You can probably connect two DE-10´s. The problem is that you have too connect the two FPGA´s to gain anything significant. Connecting the two ARM cpu´s would be possible but you would not gain anything for complex cores like N64 that way. If you do not use ARM emulation that is but then you will have one to two FPGA chips doing nothing instead and...

Re: 1080p @ 120hz

Anything over 1920x1080p@60hz is considered overclocking the pixel clock on the DE-10.
And 1920x1080p@120hz is double the pixel clock so there is no chance at all.

Re: USB Controller Needs to be Unpluged and Repluged on Startup

For all you have connected the 2A psu that came with the DE-10 is at or over it´s limit for sure. Seen many that have had less stuff connected and fixed issues with a better psu or use one separate psu to the hub. If the psu you used for the hub is 500mA (which is a very common psu) then it could be that is still to little, or it´s simply a bad psu...

Seen a couple of similar issues been solved by using a better/stronger PSU. So what psu do you use? The 2A one that came with the DE-10? And what do you mean with "all other usb stuff"? one more thing or 25? What usbhub do you have? The "official mister" from a reputable seller? An "official mister" hub from aliexpress...
