Re: MiSTerFPGA.co.uk

I’m obviously doing something wrong. Any chance you can help me? Your probably not doing anything wrong, the provided standoffs are an alternate standoff size for Raspberry Pi cases which use M2.5 sized threads. The way I supply the mt32-pi HAT is with the intention of it sitting directly on top a Raspberry Pi 3 A+ using the recommended case, whic...

Re: None of my RAM Working

It maybe is a faulty DE10-Nano. You can also test the FPGA and HPS side of your DE10 Nano, see Terasics PDF Notes For DE10-Nano Users I recommend you run a core which does not actually require a memory module installed, TurboGrafx-16 or Genesis are fine to see if you have an issue with the FPGA. You should also run the MiSTer memtest core for longe...

The only obvious issue I can see is it looks like you have a solder bridge on the RN15 resistor network. See my picture below:

Have a check for bridges / shorts on resistor networks RN12, RN13, RN14, and RN15

Looking at the pictures it seems you have a bridge on RN12 see where I've marked it on the below image.

You should not need to adjust any settings, my guess is you have not flipped SW3 on your DE10-Nano board, if the red LED behind the headphone jack is not illuminating you need to flip SW3, see here for a guide:

(2) is it possible to use it without an IO Board ? Yes it is. For ease of setup you do really require a USER IO port th...

Re: MiSTer IO Board doesn't fit DE-10

The IO board should most certainly should not be built like this, it is easily fixed though. The black plastic strip is just friction fit on the pins, best bet is to gently slide them down, while working your way along each pin, applying pressure to push the plastic part down till it falls off the end of the pins, a thin blade would be good for this.

Re: Ultimarc J-PAC issues w/15 kHz monitor

I have seen similar issues with JAMMA type adapters including J-PACs, when using an IO board.

One solution I know which works is remove C6 on the underside of the IO board it's the 100uf on the SOG switch, and just jumper it with a wire.
