Streets of Rage Remake 5.2 Core?

What are the odds of getting a dedicated core made for this stand alone game? Would this go in as a script instead as seen in this video:

I don't know if a core would even be possible. It isn't hardware?

SoRR lives inside some BennGD framework, how feasible porting that to Mister is your answer. Its been on some Chinese handhelds so the ARM alone is probably sufficient to just run it on linux.

It's been ported to the original XBOX.



I'm not sure though how easy it would be to get that going on our MiSTer device. Would be sick though!

The XBox port isn't being done in HDL (hardware description language). binarybond already showed in that video that it can be loaded with a script and is running on the ARM side (in software).

The more likely scenario is that this would be ported to some platform that we already have a core for (like Sega Genesis) if you really want to see it running on an fpga-based core.
