NES Zapper

So I have a CRT in 15khz mode and an NES to usb adapter. I've tried configuring the zapper in the MiSTer menu as well as in the NES core. It seems totally unresponsive. Is there a way to use the zapper with the MiSTer? The adapter I have is the Tomee, the PID VID doesn't even show up when I try to configure it as a joystick.

Ok, so I guess you need SNAC? These original controller usb adapters aparently don't actually convert anything. Kinda troubling, I was hoping to use the zapper light gun with sega cd games as well. So I guess I need sega light guns and snac adapters to do those as well?

You will need a SNAC to do this.
