Re: Saturn
Thanks. I meant the Model 3. I am hoping someday to have a Sega Model 3 core (Star Wars Trilogy Arcade, Daytona USA 2, etc.). I was wondering if any of the components in the Saturn are also in the Model 3.
Re: Saturn
Looks like the sound chip is. Other than that it is completely unrelated to a Saturn.
The model 3 has a PowerPC cpu and a proper 3d GPU (Real3D Pro-1000) (multiple of them I believe). It also got substantial upgrades in later revisions.

Re: Saturn
Thanks! I am guessing that means the logic will never fit on the MiSTer. There is a Model 3 emulator for the PC, but it is currently buggy. At least it is still being developed. I am looking forward to the Saturn core for sure at least!

Re: Saturn
What is buggy about Supermodel ?
Sure, there are a few graphical issues, but it's a fantastic emulator, and looks good using Reshade.

Re: Saturn
When I was playing Star Wars Arcade Trilogy, there were some major issues. I don't recall off the top of my head the exact details but I think there were graphical issues and control issues. I think the bigger problems started after the first section of the game.MiSTer_Kirk wrote: ↑Tue Jun 29, 2021 10:22 pm What is buggy about Supermodel ?

Re: Saturn
No such problems here.
Make sure you use the build version that is linked in the forums, not the one from the link on the main page, that is ancient.
Just to edit: Latest version is called "Supermodel-r862 Release + Sega Model 3 UI" :- dated 2021-05-10
