USB hub damage

Unread post by dano »

My mister took a spill and now when I turn it on my controller/keyboard won't work. Do I need a new mini-usb(or whatever it's called) or can I just resolider the usb joint back?

You can always try resoldering on the usb hub board, nothing to lose there since it's not working anyways. If it doesn't work and it's just the bottom micro usb that is messed up, then you could try getting the different kind of adapter that plugs into the headers on the USB hub as a replacement --> https://misteraddons.com/products/usb-connectors
