Menu freezes with custom aspect ratio in latest cores

First it happened with the C64 core, now for the Spectrum core is also freezing after the last update.

It happens when I have a custom aspect ratio set, or when I use the menu to set one. I haven't checked if there are other settings that cause problems. I use HDMI. Here are the settings that I think may be relevant:

If it helps, a similar freeze in a certain core was caused by a too long string in one of the settings of the menu. Not sure if it's the same problem.
