Finally Jumping into MiSTer is there a ‘Best’ 128MB Memory Module?

Hi,

I’ll be setting up Mister for arcade cab use. I’m extremely happy with Groovymame but why not run both? The Mister project has so much steam in it right now that it’s a great time to get involved.

This might be a question with no answer but I’ve read of occasional bugs with with a few specific games when a 128MB module is installed. Is there a good or bad module or is it just a case of pot luck?

And either way, is there a recommended module or supplier for any other reason? (I’m in the U.K.)

I’m currently looking at ordering from ebay. One of these:

Personally, I'd avoid eBay. I've gotten them from MiSTerAddons.com and from MiSTerFPGA.co.uk before and they've both worked just fine and passed the intensive Jotego memory tests.

Thanks for all the advice. I went with Nat. All good and the module survived Jotego's 96mhz memtest for the 30 minutes before I turned it off.
