DIY DaemonBite Sega adapter issue

Unread post by netbeui »

Hi there, I’m trying to build a DaemonBite USB Sega adapter using the diagram and instructions at https://github.com/MickGyver/DaemonBite ... trollerUSB and for some reason it’s not fully working. After soldering and then updating the Arduino using the IDE and code from Github when I go into the MiSTer menus to define keys it doesn't matter if I use one of my original Sega 3 button or 6 button controllers it only recognizes up/down/left/right and B/C buttons. It doesn’t recognize the A button or start button. I’m pretty good at soldering and I’ve tried soldering 2 different Arduino Pro Micro boards but I'm still getting the same issue. Any idea on what I’m missing or what might be wrong?

Do you have a picture of the Arduino wiring? Did you check with multimeter?

Turned out to be a wiring issue. Thanks for the tip!
