I installed a Brook Universal Fighting Board into my MayFlash F300 Elite for use with my MiSTer today but my MiSTer does not recognize the board. I tried using the stick on my PC with the board installed and it works perfectly. I have tried all the various button combinations that Brook lists for various devices when connecting the board to my MiSTer but none of them are working for me.
If you have this board and have got it working with your MiSTer in an arcade stick could you please tell me how you did it? I have been troubleshooting this for 3 hours and am about to return the board.
The board has to work with MiSTer since it's listed in the official latency guide. Looking for any advice. Thanks.

solved this. I had to map it as a gamepad. Works flawlessly now. No firmware needed or special button combo on boot.
