Jotega shadow mask to text file to use in other cores?

Unread post by FeelsDuckMan »

Hello, is it possible to replicate the Shadow Masks in the Jotega cores into a text file to be used in other cores? I really like the look of the RYCB stripe shadow mask that is in the Jotega cores. I'd need both vertical and horizontal. Is this possible to do or are they available anywhere? Apologies if there's a thread about this already.

4,1

4,6,3,1

Put that in a RYCBStripe.txt file and copy it to your Shadow_Masks folder. You can change it to be vertical in the shadow mask setting of a core's menu.

I know the color codes from the top of my head by now :D
This is in the V1 format, which should look the same as in a Jotego core.

Thanks. With your help in the update all I learned that it actually exists and was already done. The v2 is too dark but the non-V2 version seems to be it. Thanks again.

Glad to help! I was wondering if it wasn't already there with the large amount of masks that are there.

Hi ! What would be the equivalent of the first shadow mask of the Jotego cores ?
I'm really lost in this huge list :)

The first mask I think is VGA in MiSTer, then squished vga, these are shadow 1 and shadow 2 from Soltan's original source code which Atrac17 brought into Jotego's framework before it was completed and fully fleshed out.
