Trying to set 1600x1200 but reverts to 720p

Unread post by Headache33 »

Hello,

Trying to set the resolution to 1600x1200 connecting to a Dell 2007fpb using the following mode:
video_mode=1600,64,192,304,1200,1,3,46,162000
but when it starts up, it is in 720p mode. Am I missing some setting?

Thanks!

So, I have found an alternative video_mode that works. Thanks to a post by Bits n Stuff in the Display forum, who lists the following video mode: video_mode=1600,48,32,112,1200,3,4,32,130250

That is 1600x1200 at 59hz instead of 60 but at least it is working.

Hum, I may not be sensitive to it but I am not seeing the skipping. I am also still tuning things and settings are more for compatibility right now and not so much for lowest latency.

This is the setting I use on my Dell monitor:

video_mode=1600,64,192,304,1200,1,3,46,160000

Also, make sure your mister.ini is in the root of the SD card and not in the config directory.

Thanks for that setting. I can confirm that is also working. It shows as 1600x1200x59hz, not 60 when looking at the display settings on the dell menu.
