For the amigastore cable you need to change voltage in the jumpers near VGA connector. Will work with 3.3v. But also check the scandoubler setting.

With my cables all work “on the fly”.

Ah ok!

So would I have better luck with one of these do you think?

Just to add my weight to this discussion - I'm a first time Mister owner, and bought my full setup from Ricardo at UltimateMiSTer.com.

As others have said, Ricardo's service is second-to-none, both in giving generous advice before the purchase and some pointers in the right direction after it arrived. The box was totally loaded up and ready to go, and the packing was very secure and sturdy - so an excellent experience.

I'd thoroughly recommend UltimateMiSTer.com for all your Mister needs in Europe.

Currently waiting for my Ultimate MiSTer PRO Digital from ultimatemister.com, eagerly looking forward to it. Do I understand correctly that it comes with a US plug and power supply? What do other european mister users recommend for replacements?

I am quite tempted to get a case for my Mister Components.

My setup is circa 2018. Any compatibility issues with older USB hubs etc?

I bought the power supply from misterfpga.co.uk, plus the on-off switch. Works like a charm with my Ultimate Mister Pro + a 2.5" external HDD, powered over USB from the Mister.

https://misterfpga.co.uk/product/mister ... er-switch/

(I also bought SNAC-board, adapters, plus wifi and BT dongles from Nat at misterfpga.co.uk. All that works too.)

PM me directly here or from site or Facebook, I have all kinds of official cases for new and older IO. We can organize that.
Just hub need to be specific.

Ash,
It comes with the original PSU, and with EUR plug adapter works perfectly even with 2 external HDD USB 2.0. You can upgrade to 3A if you really feel necessary. You don't need power switch in Digital Edition.

I will recommend just Edimax or ASUS wifi dongles. I would avoid Aliexpress Wifi dongles. Based on several users, sometimes the wifi speed drops on those.

People in the US who have ordered from Ricardo... how long did it take for yours to arrive?

Min was shipped on 09/24 and I still do not have it as of 10/13.

The shipping info has not been updated since 09/25 when it said it was in Lisbon.

Could it be stuck in Customs?

This was the timeline for my order from earlier this summer:
July 27: Ricardo drops it off in the mail and it's accepted by the post
No updates until August 28: Arrived at JFK
August 29: Received at LAX
Then again, no updates until September 5: Delivered that day

Here to add another positive review: Received my Ultimate MiSTer PRO last month and everything was ready to go out of the box. I bought the Pro especially so I could play Neo-Geo and it works perfectly. I use a wireless 8bitdo controller + USB dongle connected to my TV using HDMI and it works great with no input or video lag. Thank you Ricardo for putting out such a high quality product!

Awesome service from Ricardo to the UK. Resolved all the issues/annoyances I was having with a sub-standard IO board and USB hub I got previously from an eBay seller and Ricardo kitted me out with a decent USB hub, case and RTC too.

Really responsive and so helpful, even helped me debug why Antonio Villena's JAMMA adapter wasn't working with my arcade cabinet setup display so I'm a very happy customer!

Hello there Ricardo,

While waiting for my stuff (the "ultimate MiSTer PRO BlisSter edition") to arrive, I've noticed that you've restocked on those and are now offering the Noctua fan + the 4A Mean Well PSU as standard for the same price as before. Any chance that you've retrofitted mine with those before shipping? I only ordered just a week ago :)

Anyway, no big deal if you didn't, as I already have the same PSU on the way; it's just that I became ~20€ poorer :P

Keep up the retro-god's work!

Hello lamarax
In last update I have removed the DB9 cable that was included in bundle by default. In place i've added the 4A PSU. I think cables being optional could work better. In your bundle it's included the cable and if your already have the PSU coming, could be a better deal :)

Hey, no probs! The DB9 cable might be a boon actually, though I'll have to organize an excavation to dig up my ole '80s Kempston and Quickshot sticks from the basement

Thank you so much! (the goods won't be in my hands till Tuesday probably)

Hi Ricardo!

Today I finally (******* postal service; they had it sitting in the local office for 3 days and I had to go pick it up myself) got the package and the MiSTer is beyond my wildest dreams! Works flawlessly! And when you say it's 'plug & play', you really mean it, don't you? 8-) It's got every single thing, be it scripts, unofficial cores, e v e r y t h i n g!

Because I'm a new member, I can't yet send or reply to PMs, but yeah the PSU is the standard one... however the I/O board has the Noctua fan on it (and I got the DB9 cable on top)

Muito, muito obrigado <3
