Amiga 600 with keyrah - space bar and return key both produce the return function in core

I have an Amiga 600 with the keyrah keyboard usb conversion kit connected to my MISTer

In the Amiga core, both the space bar and the return key both produce the same function - return
I am unable to remap the keys because they both produce the same function!
The Amiga 600 keys all work as they should under Windows and on the Raspberry Pi

Can anyone advise please?
