No sound in Digital IO board v1.2 through 3.5mm jack

Unread post by belgarcat »

Hi
I’m unable to get sound through the 3.5 jack of the DigitalIO board v1.2
The led behind the jack is off.
I don’t know if there a setting in the ini file that maybe I’m missing

It sounds like you need to setup the switches correctly on the DE10-Nano. The 3.5mm jack is for optical audio out only.

I've a guide posted on my site see here Digital IO Board Installation Guide for the MiSTer FPGA

The 3.5mm jack socket is dual purpose, it can be used as an optical audio output, or can be used as an ADC input.
