USB board questions

Unread post by kalimah »

I really want to get the USB 2.1 board. Right now I am using a separate powered USB hub but I like the "neatness" the way the board looks. Would I be able to use that board with an SSD, wifi, and Bluetooth dongle? I am using the stock power supply that came with the Nano. Is there a solution to making this work? Can you point me to what I would need to purchase to make this work? Thanks in advance.

Here is an all in one solution in general, the hub and a splitter.

If you are in the UK, you can order from here:

It should be noted that if you plug too many power hungry devices into the usb hub, it may max out the amps on the stock DE10-Nano power supply. A decent 5v 4a power supply can be used instead. I use one of these for example:

Just to be sure.

Now a bit of warning, apparently there are dangerously low voltage drops on the inline switches out there, so this RetroRGB post might be something to consider.

I've removed the amazon link upon review, I wouldn't quite trust that one.
