8bitdo M30 Bluetooth stops working after DIERYA DK61 goes to sleep

I filed this as an issue, but Sorgelig closed it and referred me here.

So... as these are my preferred (and only) Bluetooth peripherals, I’m looking for technical assistance from anyone who might know Linux Bluetooth stuff well enough to track down the cause and get it fixed.

Anyone have any suggestions for logs to examine, commands to run, etc, whenever this happens, so I can try to figure out why the gamepad suddenly goes unresponsive?
