Hi all!
Yesterday I've manually installed the eXoDOS version of Swos 96-97, one of my favorite game of all time: it runs perfectly smooth, tough there are two bugs:
1) it's very strange but if I set the Soundblaster 16 as digital audio and Midi (like in the real thing back in the days!) the menu music is very differente from original; if I set Canvas it's near but not perfect.
2) During the game, on the right side of the field you can see this rainbow vertical stripe, as from photo attached below:

Any hint?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Sensible World of Soccer '96 - '97 two bugs
I would absolutely come in expecting some issues with the A0486 core. It's a great core, but compromises have to be made to get decent performance. So it's definitely not as accurate as other cores can be. I also feel like more improvements will come in time. The cache hack is amazing performance wise, but it probably causes some issues as well regarding cycle accuracy. To summarize, expect audio issues and graphical issues with this core on some games. We do have some dedicated "hacks" for a few games to run better on this core though.

i would recommend playing the amiga version, SWOS 2020

Thanks, I know very well this version like any other versione of Swos I've played when they were released, but I would play exactly the '96-'97 Dos version (take in consideration that Dos and Amiga version have different gameplay styles and slightly different AI...)PikWik wrote: ↑Sat Oct 16, 2021 4:55 pm i would recommend playing the amiga version, SWOS 2020
