Update from today broke menu from Gamepad shoulder buttons

Unread post by rcade »

I have gone through and tried to redefine, and the gamepad works fine otherwise.

It works if I define as other keys (select and start, for example) but no longer the shoulder buttons for some reason.

Perhaps related to this? viewtopic.php?p=3935#p3935
- OSD: support increase/decrease options where possible (L/R on gamepad, -/= on keyboard).

Sorry- I used to pull up the menu by pressing both L/R on the gamepad. This no longer works, I guess because these are now defined as increase/decrease?

Not a problem. I redefined it to select+start, like on the MiST.

You should careful choose the combo for OSD. select+start is also not a good combo as such combo is still used on some consoles. TurboGrafx16 for example use such combo for soft-reset. Other consoles use this combo in games.

Other systems chose Select + Down, which I don't *think* is used for anything.
