Possible to output 480i60 15KHz doubled to 480i120 31KHz without deinterlacing on (S)VGA CRT?

I'd like to just straight double the framerate of 480i60 or 576i50 for output on a (S)VGA monitor without deinterlacing it. Is this possible to do with MiSTer or with some kind of external scan doubler?

Currently, there is no interlacing support in the MiSTer's scaler. There is no way to specify the "interlaced" flag. I wish there was. You could try the forced_scandoubler=1 line in the MiSTer.ini and see if that works. I have no idea if it will.
