Daemonbite Issue

I've got this daemonbite adapter for commodore/atari and sega

Using an original zipstick and megadrive controller I can browse the OSD menu, but the minimig, c64 and genesis core doesnt work in game. I can assign keys in the OSD but in game is not working. what am i doing wrong?

Worked it out. I needed to define keys on the mister menu first.
