Why is the time never right in my main MiSTer core?

Unread post by Waifu4Life »

My MiSTer setup is plugged via Ethernet and my router has the proper time and date, so why is the time always off in my main MiSTer core?

EDIT: Problems solved by jca:

Yeah, same thing happens to me. If I unplug it from the internet and turn off the Mister the date and time will go back a couple of days.

Try to search the forum, there is something about the network taking too long to come up and the time synchronization happening before the network is up.

The time zone is correct in my router. Is there a way to set a time zone in the MiSTer configuration?

I don't leave my MiSTer on 24/7, this should not be a solution.

Doesn't matter if my MiSTer is On for 2 hours, the time is always 4 hours headed.

There should be a script named timezone.sh in the Scripts directory. If not you can get it from
