SASI Hard Disk

Unread post by pstriolo »

Hello all,

I'm using the last x68000 core with sasi hard disk *.hdf option.

Each time i reset the core, the last choosen hdf is used.

Is it possible to remove the sasi hard disk to have a clean reset. The possibility to remove the last choice is only available for FDD0 or FDD1 but not for hard disk in the osd ?

Second question : is it possible to change the type of the hard disk between HDF and HDS (to use the eidisV4 image for example) ?

Thank you.

Philippe.

I don't really use the 68000 core, but most of the others let you use a backspace to say 'no disk'. Sometimes it's highlighting the entry and pressing backspace, and sometimes it's hitting enter to choose a file, and then hitting backspace. Once you've blanked it out, don't forget to switch right one screen and choose "Save Settings".

For the moment, only SASI disk (HDF) is supported by the core.

For your reference, this small thread (Unmount a Harddisk Image [Solved]) lists the options to unmount.
