Script to Test Connection Speed (Up and Down)?

Unread post by pbsk8 »

So, I have been trying today to use update all script but it doesnt run at all, gets tuck on loading script screen. Nothing downloads.

If I run SAM or wallpapers script, they work fine. My mister also shows the ip address, so there is connection.

Just to make sure it has internet connection and at what speed, is there a script I can run to test this?

Do you have a RTC board add-on installed on your MiSTer?

Iperf on your local network could rule out MiSTer itself.

With an RTC if its not functioning the Mister will have the wrong day/time. Update_all requires a correctly set date to function. You should always wait for either the Mister to gte its time either from the RTC or the Internet before running update_all
