Bypassing the traditional cable method as it caused me brightness issues , thought I’d try the vga2scart from retro upgrades as it fixed similar problems for others .
My mister ini now has comp sync set to 0 as opposed to 1 , vgamode left at rgb .
Using vga cable with pin 9 connected .
Vgapower set to 5v on the io board
Fully wired hq Thor branded scart
I get the red light on the adapter so assumably that indicates power of some sort . 5v power jumper is set on the vga2scart adapter .
Have been doing some reading such as the below thread so do I also need the usb power connected also when running into a consumer crt ?
