Autosave default to On?

Twice in the past few weeks I have lost hours of FF6 because it was very late at night and I forgot to enable Autosave to on and forgot to save my backup RAM.

Is there any way that I can have the SNES core default the Autosave setting to on for games that support saving?

For bone heads like me it I’m sure it would be greatly appreciated.

You should only need to enable it once per core.
After you enable the autosave option in OSD, press right and 'save settings'.
