Guncon SNAC via PVM

I connect my mister to my pvm with bnc cables - i dont get any sort of response from the gun when plugging in the snac ( to the side usb port at the top).

ive connected the snac adaptor for the playstation controller to the usb port - i cant intercept the green signal with the other end - i saw someone else had this problem on their tv, but im not getting even pressing the trigger shows a response, i have snac turned on in the options - i havent been able to test the gun itself actually works but i assume it does, am i missing something in the setup?

I can only see setup for guncon2 - not guncon 1 anywhere. Do i need something added in my ini for it to function?

Does anyone know of a bnc to composite adaptor so i can plug in the sync into my snac box, or plug the snac box cable as a passthrough into my pvm?

did you connect it to the upper usb port? not the ones from the usb hub.

most psx snac adapters have a composite sync signal output on the actual snac adapter but that's just for the guncon, you don't need to pass it through. You just get the video signal directly out from the analog out and then separately get an equivalent sync signal from the snac port.
Maybe post a picture of the cables in your setup so we can understand and see where the issue is.
