@tontonkaloun, do you have an idea of what can prevent the disk to be loaded despite that in the OSD, the boot.vhd (located in the folder AcornAtom) is selected ? I unmounted it just to see what happens and when I pressed Shift+F10 I got : NOT FOUND which makes sense, so it seems that the boot.vhd is well found but as you say and what I thought, it is not loaded :-(

Same question, you don't have two AcornAtom folders?

No , just one folder inside GAMES.
I have another beta core that just works with secondary SD.
But no duplicate folders...

I have no idea

Check your config folder for an old Acorn config file ...
@Kathleen.
You also had a similar issue with some versions of the MSX1 core

Well as card type I have N/A :-(

Correct @tonton, I had issue with the MSX1 but it was more related to the incompatibility with my Mister setup and this has been resolved by another core revision.

I'm totally confused, I unmounted the boot.vhd and after a *HELP I have as CART TYPE ; SDHC but as no vhd is loaded shift+f10 leads to a not found message
So no boot.vhd loaded -> CART TYPE : SDHC
and with boot.vhd loaded -> CART TYPE : N/A

I did just post this so if this is a second copy - Sorry
I cannot get this not to work.
Today with Mr.Fusion I created a new SD card 32GB - its all I can afford on my pension.
I installed no further files and started the core.
*HELP gives Version - Author - Bootloader- and CARD TYPE N/A
*CAT gives NOT READY ERROR 102

I unzipped the blank.zip in the releases folder and put that on the SD
With blank.vhd mounted and f10 pressed.
*HELP gives CARD TYPE SDHC
*CAT just returns the cursor (no error)

In Windows 10 I unzipped the blank.zip and renamed the file to acorn.vhd
I transferred the contents of the AtomArchive and put this on the SD
mounted acorn.vhd pressed f10
CARD TYPE SDHC
*CAT list the files
*MENU works.

In windows 10 I created a new vhd formatted it and placed the files form AtomArchive.
This appears to work in windows but transferring this to the SD card as boot.vhd does not
shift break gives NOT READY ERROR 102
The core cannot read this file although it appear to be a perfectly good vhd.

Finally I downloaded the boot.7z above and unzipped it.
I placed the boot.vhd on the SD and this worked first time.

The core will examine the 2nd SD slot if fitted. The blank.vhd in releases was created on a DOS 6 machine in Fat.
Two AcornAtom folders on the SD card is a problem.

I have 32M and no problem. Is there anyone with 128M and no problem? I am not even sure if the core uses SDRAM, the FPGA have plenty of BRAM.

So I really doubt it has anything to do with the memory. This core is not CPS 1.5, it is as slow as a sloth: I tried F14 Tomcat and the missiles fly so slow that it is almost impossible to anticipate where the target will be.
Now, for those with problems it is very puzzling

BREAKING NEWS !!!!!!!!!!!!!

While typing this message I decided to try again the Atom, I think it went into fission
Shift+F10
*MENU
NOT FOUND
ERROR 102
I tried everything: unmounting the VHD, remounting it. Unmounting it, deleting the VHD FTPing the original one and mounting it. Did the same thing after deleting the config of the core.
This core is haunted.

Yep, I have got the 128mb module as well and no issues.

Guys, I am done for now.
I made a last try where I loaded the next core Alice au pays des merveilles, deleted the core, the vhd, FTPed the core and vhd. I dis a cold rebbot of MISTer followed by power off/on. Same thing.
One thing to investigate:
I switched to BBC mode.
*DIR
*CAT
This is what I get:
CUPBALL
DRIVE
HAMMUR
HEXPAWN
LETTERS
OTHELLO
PINBALL
SCRAMB
SIMON2
SPACEWAR
3DMAZE
BREAKOUT
This is then contents of the TD directory. and surprise, surprise !!!
When I did my first try and did not know anything about Shift+F10 the last thing I did was to switch to the BBC mode and type a few commands:
*DIR
*CAT
*CAT TD
Something seems to be stuck somewhere.
In the games/AcornAtom directory I found 2 hidden files:
.fuse_hidden0000016f00000001
.fuse_hidden0000003800000001
They have the same exact size as the vhd. I deleted them but same thing.
Have fun with the atom but be careful of the radiation.

I can try one last thing if you help me:
In my case the disk seems to be "stuck on the TD" directory. How to you use fully qualified names?
I want to try *DIR, *CAT <root directory>

Thank you @tontonkaloun
I'm using the same.
Just restarted from scratch, also create a new fat 16 vhd image, copy all the stuffs to it, transfer to my mister via FileZilla (in Binary) to the \fat\games\AcornAtom and pffff still the same NOT READY issue. I give up for the moment
