Was thinking the same thing.
Will this work with the Mister alright though?
Im guessing there shouldnt be any problem.

In any case, seems like a good solution for people like me, who knows nothing about arcade sticks.
The ability to easily mod it is a nice touch.

I use their previous stick (with upgraded buttons and stick) and it is great.
It is really nice having a wireless stick for casual play and it has a wired mode as well if you need less input lag.
Also, according to MisterAddons' input lag spreadsheet it has comparably low input lag both in wireless(windows) mode and wired mode.

According to an answer provided by 8bitdo on the Amazon Product Page, it is compatible with Raspberry Pi, despite their compatibility claims of only working with the Nintendo Switch and Windows PCs. So I would think it should be showing up as an HID device. Also claims 2.4G, bluetooth, and USB-C connectivity as options out of the box. I like that they had the foresight to allow various types of authentic arcade hardware to be mounted on the device.

The only caveat that I saw was that the buttons function based on what mode the device is in, and it wasn't totally clear what was meant by that. I would hope that it only referred to the extra buttons up on the top or the selectable switches.

No, one of the product videos actually shows the button functions being relabeled in real time as the switch position is moved.

What about input lags?

Did someone measured it? (according to "official" way: https://github.com/eniva/MisSTer_Guides ... ce-Ranking)

Greetings, M

I don't think anyone can measure it yet since it won't be released until October 20th but I'd bet you money that Porkchop (MisterAddons) will do it shortly after it comes out

Any news about that? Someone who has it can comment? I yet have not seen any lag test

Someone did a lag test and submitted it to Porkshop. It's in the spreadsheet, basically at the top. All results are <1 frame but not particularly exceptional. I got one for Christmas and as someone who's never owned an arcade stick before, it's pretty nice. I certainly don't notice the lag except maybe barely during Neo Turf Masters.

Using the stick now for some time with the included 2.4GHz adapter - feels absolutely fine in terms of lag. No issues playing shmups or beat em ups.

Using button setup software to assign P1 and P2 as actual buttons in X-input mode (like LT and RT ), then they could be mapped in MiSTer.
