Doubtful you'll see it for quite some years, until the project migrates to another board is my bet. The PowerPC is a lot more advanced than any of the chips so far re-implemented.

No reason it can't be done, but the current hardware simply isn't big enough or clocked high enough i suspect.

The PowerPC G3 is a Pentium II-equivalent processor, released in 1997. The DE-10 Nano can handle roughly 486 levels of CPUs, a simple rule of thumb is that it can handle systems released until 1994. Not going to happen.

G3/G4 computers are still very affordable if that’s what you want.
