Hi everyone,

I am not sure if you've encountered this issue before, but here it goes:

- latest neo geo core
- set to use Unibios (latest version I believe)
- set to MVS mode, so Arcade


The issue comes up randomly, with random games and it behaves in the way that I get the console (AES) version of the rom booting up even though the core is specifically set to Arcade.

If I reset or hard reset MiSTer, it doesn't fix the issue, only if I pull the plug and power cycle it.

Has anyone encountered this before?

I know you have to set the mode for each individual ROM and save. You can't just set it once for everything. Is it possible that is what is happening here?

By default, it should load in whatever mode your BIOS or menu are set to. If using Unibios, all Unibios settings will save on a per-game basis if you save from the core menu (or use autosave). Did you maybe already play those games and inadvertently save some Unibios settings?
