PS1 Guncon via USB

I'm trying to use my PS1 Guncon to USB adapter in Mister without success.
The adapter maps the controller as a usb mouse with absolute position.
It works as desired in windows and linux (ubuntu) with the generic usb hid driver.
From my testing on Mister seems like it is moving as relative position.
There's any setting to use mouse with absolute position? Or it's a missing feature?
