Can the Top 300 Pack be Updated without FTP?

So I'm thinking about updating my Top 300 pack. It says it was last updated 4 days ago? The thing is though the only way I learned how is through FTP. My FTP situation sucks right now so I thought about just ejecting the micro sd card and plugging it up to the computer, grabbing the update then reconnecting it to the Mister. The question becomes is there an installation process of getting this on there that doesn't involve FTP?

Is it as simple as dumping both sh and ini in the scripts directory and running update all, or am I dealing with something a little more complicated than that?

After reading those instructions I thought maybe I needed to search another spot on github. So I did a google search for update.zip on Ao486/Mister. I did at least 5 different searches with a combination of names. The only thing that came up was the my github link from above. I believe I looked all over that page including Code, go to file, and download zip and there was no update.zip. I did find Top300_updates-main, I'll assume that overtime update.zip name changed? Figured I point that out for anyone else trying to download without FTP to avoid confusion. Top300_updates-main is update.zip, please correct me if I'm wrong?

In the 3rd instructions the only folder with a drive letter on it is C. There's a bunch of items outside of the C directory - these items look like they are the intended E so I'll overwrite accordingly. There are a bunch of extra files in here too. Where does _mister go?

The remaining steps look easy as pie, I just need help with those specific ones I laid out. Not only would it help me but it will do a world of clarity to anyone else looking to update their 300 with updated instructions.

Appreciate the link.

EDIT: the pack ver note is v.0.7.6, but my unmounted one is v.0.7.8

Shit, after seeing that I may as well skip the update after all. There appear to be a lot more new files in this one though.

or just run the update script. It doesn't use FTP at all, the MiSTer just needs internet, just like if you were running a MiSTer update.

Follow the readme here. you can do all of this on the MiSTer if you just hit F9 you will get the console.
