Tron Core - Display Issues

Hi Folks,
Im running my Tron core through HDMI and am getting a little bit of annoying garbage at the top of the screen and a little flickering on the main sprites - is this typical for the FPGA implementation or should I be looking into my configuration? Many Thanks
