DE10 SDRAM Module Slot Repair

Hi,
I've had a faulty Mister for a while. I suspect a static discharge damaged it a while ago.
It outputs garbled HDMI, but still outputs good video over the IO Board. Since I primarily use CRT's anyway, I don't really mind.
However, the DE10 doesn't recognize any SD Ram memory modules anymore. I tried a 32MB and 128MB module. The boot/main core always shows the empty memory icon. I tried both modules on my fully functioning DE10 and they seem to work just fine there.
Can anyone point me in the right direction on troubleshooting de faulty expansion slot? It would be nice to have the DE10 recognizing the 32MB module again. That way I can use it again for CRT-only play.
