Earnest Evans Not working on sega cd core

hello i cant seem to get Earnest Evans to run on the megacd core same my ask way lol, i have tried a few diffrent rips .img files and cue and bin also tried converting to chd and it will not boot it gets to the sega logo you see the sparkles and then thats it. i have tried diffrent bioses still wont work and tested the rips on my pc and ps classic and they work fine any ideas ?.

Earnest Evans requires a JP bios I believe. You'll need to dump your Mega CDs bios.
It does work on the mister though, I am playing it now.

mmm i do have the jp bios mmm wonder whats wrong with mine, ok thats for the reply i will have a play around with it again.

Right got it working the bios pack that comes down with the update all_script will not boot ernest evens i deleted it and redownloaded it and still the same, so i got the jp mega cd 2 region free bios renamed that to boot.rom and it works tried a few us games and they all boot fine the only thing now is i have to reset and eject cd when i want to swap games but i can live with that.
